When Juan Manuel Marquez and Manny Pacquiao square off for the fourth time Saturday night, the stakes could be larger than ever.

According to Top Rank president Todd DuBoef, who promotes the world-class pugilist, Pacquiao, 34, this month, could rake in upwards of $25 million dollars for the Marquez fight, possibly even $30 million, reports Yahoo.

While the Filipino fighter is contracted at almost $8.6 million, pay-per-view sales and foreign television money are expected to pad Pacquiao’s purse. His card is predicted to top 1 million buys and could possibly reach 1.3 million. DuBoef also believes closed circuit viewing for the headlining fight will be up, even after Pacquiao lost a controversial decision — that many thought he won — to Timothy Bradley in his last bout.

“We’re getting more of the bars and restaurants, the chains, the Hooters, the Buffalo Wild Wings, places like that, buying the fight,” DuBoef told Yahoo. “If [interest in Pacquiao is decreasing], I am not seeing it.”

Fans, though, are growing weary about the sport as it has yet to put on what boxing masses are calling the best fight: Pacquiao versus Floyd Mayweather.

Money demands and drug testing procedures have continued to stall the bout, though Top Rank chairman Bob Arum still believes it would produce nearly 3 million pay-per-view subscribers if both sides could come together.

Pacquiao’s opponent Saturday, Juan Manuel Marquez, won’t be doing too bad for himself in the wallet either. The 39-year-old Mexican figher will make $3 million guaranteed for the contest, and like Pacquiao, should earn significantly more than that when pay-per-view and foreign TV numbers are calculated.

According to Forbes, Pacquiao was the second highest-earning athlete from June 2011 through June 2012, accruing $62 million. The only man that made more than him was rival, Floyd Mayweather, who hauled in a whopping $85 million.

Team news: All-action Brazilian winger Ramires is back in the squad after an illness -- presumably he was struck down by a bout of being slightly too awesome for the universe to handle -- so we're back to full strength save for Marko Marin, who is out with a nagging hamstring problem.

Reading are, apparently, 'picking from the same squad that drew with Stoke'. So that's easy enough.

Tactically, there's not a whole lot to say that hasn't been thoroughly covered elsewhere. Expect Reading in a quintessentially English 4-4-2, and don't expect them to be scared of coming to Stamford Bridge. They'll have seen what Southampton nearly pulled off against Manchester City, and this season's Premier League newcomers are generally far stronger than the previous years' editions. They're not going to turtle up and hope to only be beaten by one or two.

Of course, that could be their undoing, because Chelsea are more than capable of some explosive attacking play, especially if another team comes onto them like Wigan Athletic did in the early stages of Sunday's match. While they're yet to prove that they can truly break opponents down, the Blues have demonstrated that they're still more than capable of reactive football, and if Reading come onto them they could hit them very, very hard. With a weekend game against Newcastle coming up, one would imagine that Roberto di Matteo will hope for a similar outcome to the opener -- score enough early goals that a win is secure and then relax.

The fact that this is a match on short rest also means that he's likely to take advantage of that squad depth we've been building up. Gary Cahill's a natural candidate to start over David Luiz with Reading's aerial threat, and we may see Frank Lampard rested too. With Ramires back, we can give some serious thought to plonking Juan Mata on the bench for a while, and I wouldn't even be shocked to see Daniel Sturridge start at centre forward.

Di Matteo's options make it very difficult to figure out how he'll play this, but let's try to project a lineup anyway:

Chelsea (4-2-3-1): Petr Cech; Ashley Cole, John Terry, Gary Cahill, Branislav Ivanovic; Raul Meireles, John Obi Mikel; Ramires, Eden Hazard, Daniel Sturridge; Fernando Torres.

Viciously quick, defensively sounds, gives Torres a chance to score a couple. Should be good enough for the win. Here's hoping.

Sonnen did pretty well during his first encounter against Silva, but I don't think he'll be able to replicate his performance at UFC 148. This time around, "The Spider" knows how good Sonnen's takedowns are, and I expect him to do a much better job avoiding them. Forrest Griffin versus Tito Ortiz Prediction:
Griffin didn't do too well in his last fight against Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, but he should be able to rebound against Ortiz. When focused, Griffin is still a serious threat for most light-heavyweights in the UFC, and I don't think Ortiz has enough left in his tank to deal with him. Griffin wins by TKO

Cung Le versus Patrick Côté Prediction:
Le will try to secure his first win in the UFC when he faces Côté on Saturday. Le has the advantage in the striking department, and he should be able to stuff any attempt by Côté to take the fight to the canvas. I expect a very entertaining showdown between the two, with Le emerging victorious. Le wins via decision.

Dong Hyun Kim versus Demian Maia Prediction:
Maia will make his welterweight debut when he faces Kim at UFC 148. Maia's performance in his last fight against Chris Weidman certainly wasn't impressive, and he'll have his hands full against the Korean. Kim - who is a better striker - has already dealt with solid BJJ guys like Nate Diaz in the past, and he should be able to handle Maia's submissions. Kim wins via decision.

We’ve got ourselves a seven-match card — including the pre-show match — and I’m pretty excited for all but one of those matches (I’ll tell you which one as we go along). Creative’s gotten some flak over the last few years for messing with the PPV buildups by just putting random superstars together in some feud that didn’t make sense just to add a match to the card. Add to that their tendency to pepper the card with bonus impromptu bouts and you have a solid portion of the fan base not feeling as confident about PPV buildups today as we did in the mid-2000s.

But for this PPV, all seven matches stem from feuds that have been established pretty well. And, unlike Over the Limit, which had four (I repeat, four) matches that were impromptu, I can go so far as to say that this card is stacked enough as it is. Though, I’m predicting right off the bat that there will be a Ryback squash here.

WHAT THE HEAT MUST DO TO WIN THE 2012 NBA FINALS

Drive to the Basket — As LeBron James and Dwayne Wade go, so go the Miami Heat. Unfortunately, both superstars can sometimes struggle when shooting from the floor. Oklahoma City plays very good defense and fills the passing lanes. James and Wade must drive to the basket and force the Thunder front court of Kevin Durant, Kendrick Perkins and Serge Ibaka to choose between foul trouble or allowing easy baskets.

Contain Russell Westbrook — Oklahoma City has a tremendous edge in the point guard match-up in this series. When he’s playing in control, as he did over the last four games of the Western Conference Finals, the Thunder’s Russell Westbrook can create havoc on offense and defense. He’s an excitable player, so Miami’s Mario Chalmers may want to try to lean on him a bit and get him off his game. Chalmers must give the Heat some production on the offensive end, at least enough to keep Westbrook and others from easily helping on James and Wade.

Force Kevin Durant Into Bad Shots — The Thunder’s Kevin Durant is an incredible scorer. He may have the best shooting range of any current NBA player. Miami must rotate fresh defenders on to Durant so that he rarely has a clear look from his favorite shooting spots. Still, Durant will score 20 per game; Miami must keep him under 30.

WHAT THE THUNDER MUST DO TO WIN THE 2012 NBA FINALS

Unleash James Harden — The NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year gives Oklahoma City the edge in bench strength. What Harden must do is find a way to score when Miami has both Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook covered. Already averaging 17.6 points per game in the playoffs, Harden is capable of turning a game around in seconds. The Heat may not have an answer for him.

Be Physical — Miami’s Chris Bosh and Udonis Haslem do not stack up against the Thunder’s physical duo of Serge Ibaka and Kendrick Perkins. Ibaka and Perkins have to dominate the rebounding at both ends of the floor and get back on run-outs so that James and Wade never score an easy basket.

Get in LeBron James’ Head — LeBron James has played like the MVP that he is. Until he gets an NBA title, James will carry pressure around with him to succeed, and it will get greater with every loss in this 2012 NBA Finals. If Oklahoma City can get ahead in this series, the pundits will start pecking at James. That could be enough to tip the series their way.
